There's an old store on the corner of Chapman Street and Elizabeth Street at Torrensville. No longer open. Seems to be part of a house. Has an old 'Leed' lemonade sign on the side.
I grew up just down the street from this shop in the 1960's & 70's. We called it 'Robbies Shop' because the owner was Mr Robinson. It was a small shop but it carried an extensive line of goods. The shelves went to the ceiling and I can remember Mr Robinson flicking items down from the top shelf with a very large stick.
